A lifting device by Classys that focuses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) at set depths within the skin to create small thermal coagulation points. How much you feel varies by area, depth, and skin thickness, and you can return to daily activities immediately after treatment.
How Shurink Universe Works
With age, the fascia (SMAS) layer that supports the skin loosens and collagen and elastic fibers decrease, making the cheeks and jawline appear to sag. This device sends ultrasound energy down to that layer.
- Ultrasound focusing: Ultrasound is concentrated at a single point, generating heat at a set depth while causing little damage to the skin surface.
- Thermal coagulation points: The heated tissue contracts, followed by a process in which collagen is newly produced.
- Depth by cartridge: Facial cartridges come in 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm, and 4.5mm, and are swapped to suit the area and skin thickness.
According to the manufacturer, this device delivers energy to the dermis, the fascia layer, and the subcutaneous fat layer. Even with the same device, the plan differs depending on which depths are used and how many shots are applied.

Precautions on the day of treatment
- You can wash your face and wear makeup right away; use a gentle cleanser.
- Do not rub the treated area hard or touch it often.
What to Avoid for One Week
- For the first 3 days, wash your face with lukewarm water only.
- For about 7 days, avoid heavy drinking, saunas and jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), hot baths, and strenuous exercise.
Post-Treatment Care
- Your skin may become dry, so apply moisturizer often and use sunscreen when going out.
- We recommend taking antioxidants such as vitamin C.
- Heat, tingling, swelling, redness, a burning sensation, dryness, and itching usually subside soon.
Rarely, the cheeks may look hollow, or a burn may occur on the epidermis if the cartridge does not make even contact with the skin. Please contact us right away if blisters form, if redness and pain worsen day by day, or if numbness persists. Please let us know before treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have dermatitis, wounds, or severe acne in the treatment area, have recently received fillers or thread lifting, or have metal implants in your face.
