Shurink 300 Shots: Which Areas Is It Used On, and How Many Sessions Do I Need?

Shurink 300 shots is a configuration that uses 300 units of a single focused-ultrasound shot, a scope for managing firmness in one or two chosen areas, such as the jawline, cheeks, or double chin, or for passing lightly over the entire face. Shurink Universe works by continuing sessions at 1-month intervals rather than firing strongly all at once, so 300 shots also tend to be received in divided portions within a 3- to 5-session course.

Shurink 300 shots: how are the shots divided?

Shurink Universe has the Ultra F handpiece, which passes over broad areas line by line, and the Ultra Booster handpiece, whose round tip fits closely to narrow, curved areas such as the nasolabial folds, around the eyes, and the cheekbones. Even with the same number of shots, the configuration differs depending on how the 300 shots are divided between the handpieces and which cartridge depth is used to suit the skin thickness. Simply increasing the number of shots does not make the change proportionally greater.

When to Expand Coverage Beyond Shurink 300 Shots

If the entire face is to be treated evenly or sagging is spread over a wide area, coverage is expanded to 500 shots or more, and thin-skinned areas such as around the eyes are treated with dedicated shots. On the other hand, for people with little facial fat, repeated heat in the same spot can make the cheeks look hollow, so the number of shots is reduced and divided across sessions.

Treatment is performed after topical anesthetic cream, and you can wash your face and wear makeup right away, but wash gently with lukewarm water for about 3 days. A feeling of heat, stinging, swelling, redness, and dryness may occur and usually subside within a few days. A. Even after one session, you may feel a change in firmness over the few weeks when collagen is being rebuilt, but Shurink is closer to a method in which results build up over divided sessions. 3 to 5 sessions at 1-month intervals is used as the baseline, and the number is adjusted based on skin condition and changes.

Q. Are Shurink 300 shots and Ulthera 300 shots the same amount?

A. Both devices use focused ultrasound, but their handpieces, the energy per shot, and the firing method differ, so the same number is hard to regard as the same amount. Since what a shot count means differs by device, check which areas are treated at what depth rather than focusing on the number.

Q. Can my cheeks become hollow after Shurink 300 shots?

A. If facial fat is naturally low or the cheeks are already hollow, repeatedly applying heat to the same area can make the cheeks look more sunken. Before treatment, we check fat volume and the degree of sagging and make adjustments, such as moving shots from the cheeks toward the jawline or reducing the number of shots.
