Potenza tips: how to choose by skin concern, and what to combine them with
Potenza tips are chosen based on which skin layer the concern lies in, whether a skin booster will be delivered at the same time, and whether needles will be used.
The reason there are so many names, such as the pore option, drug delivery tip, and Diamond lifting, is that a single device is used with different tips and modes. The layer reached and the purpose vary depending on needle depth, how the radiofrequency is delivered, and whether a drug is delivered at the same time.
Features of the three tips
- Multi-needle tip: The needles enter the skin and deliver heat at a set depth. It is used to treat the dermis directly, as with pores and scars.
- Drug delivery tip: According to the manufacturer, it gathers air and then releases it toward the skin. This helps the skin booster enter through the microchannels created by the needles.
- Diamond tip: It contacts the skin surface without needles. Within a single shot, it alternates between two types of radiofrequency to deliver energy to multiple layers, including the epidermis and dermis.

Combined treatment
- Juvelook: An injectable combining PDLLA and hyaluronic acid; as the PDLLA breaks down, it helps new tissue such as collagen to form. Options include a drug-delivery tip with Juvelook 2cc for 1 or 3 sessions, the same with REJURAN HB 1cc added, or a CP25 tip with 1 vial of Juvelook Skin, 3 sessions each.
- REJURAN: REJURAN Healer is a skin booster that places PN into the dermis, while REJURAN HB+ is a formulation blending PN and hyaluronic acid 1:1. When aiming for both regeneration and hydration, there is an option of an N25 tip with REJURAN Healer 2cc, 3 sessions each.
- Aqua Peel: When both sebum and blackheads are a concern, pores are cleared with Aqua Peel solutions 1 and 2, followed by needle radiofrequency, and finished with soothing gauze.
The 5-week scar package combines Potenza, Fraxel-type lasers, and skin boosters over 5 weeks, depending on the shape and depth of the scars. Total Potenza options are also divided into a 4-week course and an 8-week course.
Before Your Treatment
- Inflamed skin: If inflammatory acne or dermatitis has flared up severely on the face, the treatment sequence will be reconsidered.
- Depth and intensity: Needle depth and energy are set according to skin thickness and the areas of concern, and depth is adjusted by area even within the same face.
- Please let us know: Please tell us before treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, prone to keloids, have an implanted electronic medical device such as a pacemaker, or are taking any medications or have allergies.
Aftercare
After Potenza Alone
- Avoid activities that raise body heat, such as saunas, hot baths, and strenuous exercise, as well as heavy drinking and smoking, for 3 to 7 days.
- Dryness can occur easily, so apply moisturizer often and use sunscreen before going out.
- Avoid retinol-based anti-wrinkle cosmetics and functional whitening cosmetics for a while.
When a skin booster was delivered at the same time
- If Juvelook was delivered as well, avoid saunas, jjimjilbang, and strenuous exercise for about a week.
- If REJURAN HB+ was also injected, wait until the next day to wash your face or wear makeup, and avoid vigorous massage or meridian massage for one month.
- Raised marks or bruising may appear at injection sites, so do not rub them hard.
