LinearZ 300 shots: what range is it used for, and what changes?

LinearZ 300 shots means delivering focused ultrasound 300 times, a package used to focus on a narrower area such as the jawline and double chin or to lightly treat the whole face. More shots increase the area that can be covered and the number of overlapping passes, but it is hard to say the change grows in proportion to the number of shots. Facial area, sagging areas, and skin thickness determine the number of shots.
What does a shot mean in LinearZ 300 shots?
LinearZ is a device that focuses ultrasound at a set depth within the skin to create thermal coagulation points from the dermis to the fascial (SMAS) layer. Each time the handpiece emits energy counts as one shot, and a single handpiece can use both a dot-pattern method and a line-pattern method.
With line-pattern delivery, each shot covers a wider area than with the dot pattern. So even with the same 300 shots, the area covered varies by device and delivery method, making it hard to compare with other devices by shot count alone.
What range is LinearZ 300 shots used for?
300 shots are used to concentrate on areas where sagging is focused, such as the jawline, double chin, and around the mouth, or to lightly treat the whole face for those with thinner skin and a smaller face. If the face is wide or sagging spans several areas, there is less room to overlap on the same area, so the number of shots is sometimes increased.
At our Suwon clinic, LinearZ is offered in 300-shot and 400-shot packages and proceeds in the order of personalized consultation, self-cleansing, treatment, and finishing. There are also packages combined with other lifting treatments, and we decide the number of shots and combination after assessing the layer of sagging and the amount of fat.
Recovery and precautions after LinearZ 300 shots
You can wash your face and wear makeup right after treatment. Temporary redness and warmth mostly ease within a few days, and areas close to bone, such as the jawline or below the cheekbones, may feel sore when pressed for a few days. For about one week, avoid saunas, drinking, and irritation such as peels and scrubs, and moisturize and use sun protection thoroughly.
Results and recovery vary from person to person. If swelling and pain increase day by day, blisters or line-shaped marks appear on the skin, or a feeling of numbness persists in part of the face, please contact the clinic.

FAQ
Q. Can LinearZ 300 shots cover the whole face?
A. If your face is small and your skin is thin, 300 shots are sometimes used to treat the whole face evenly. However, if the face is wide or sagging is present in several areas, there is less room to overlap on one area, so we either narrow the range or increase the number of shots.
Q. Is anesthesia used for LinearZ 300 shots?
A. The LinearZ procedure proceeds in the order of personalized consultation, self-cleansing, treatment, and finishing, with no separate anesthesia step. You may feel a tingling sensation in areas close to bone, so if you are uncomfortable during treatment, let us know and we will adjust the energy and speed.
Q. At what intervals should LinearZ 300 shots be done?
A. Time is needed for the thermal coagulation points to heal and for collagen to form, so we usually allow about a month between sessions to monitor progress. The actual intervals and number of sessions depend on skin condition, the degree of sagging, and any treatments received together, and are decided in consultation.
