ALLTITE pain: how much is there during treatment, and is anesthesia used?

ALLTITE pain is not the pain of a needle prick but is felt mainly as warmth as the inside of the skin is heated while the handpiece passes over it. There is no separate anesthesia step in the procedure, and treatment starts right after cleansing; the warmth may be a little stronger near bone, such as the jawline or cheekbones. How much you feel varies from person to person depending on skin thickness and area.
What does ALLTITE pain feel like?
ALLTITE is a lifting device that delivers heat to the dermis within the skin to induce collagen contraction and regeneration. Because the handpiece heats the inside as it passes over the skin, you feel a broad, warm heat rather than a stinging sensation. The more times it passes over the same spot, the more heat builds up and the hotter it feels.
There are differences by area. The front of the cheeks, which is fleshier, is less sensitive, while areas close to bone with thin skin, such as the jawline, cheekbones, and forehead, feel the warmth more distinctly.
How is ALLTITE performed without anesthesia?
At our Suwon clinic, ALLTITE proceeds in the order of personalized consultation, self-cleansing, treatment, and soothing care, with no separate anesthesia step. If the heat feels strong during treatment, tell us right away and we will adjust the energy and the speed at which the handpiece moves. Letting us know as it happens, rather than enduring it, also helps prevent excessive heat from building up on the surface.
After treatment, we finish by cooling the heat with soothing care. Right afterward the skin may feel red and warm, but this usually subsides within a few hours.
ALLTITE pain and aftercare
Temporary redness and swelling mostly disappear within a few days. On the day of treatment, wash the treated area gently with lukewarm water, and for 2 to 3 days avoid saunas and jjimjilbang, strenuous exercise, and drinking. For one week, refrain from skin-irritating care such as scrubs, peels, and massages.
If redness and a burning sensation do not decrease after several days, blisters or scabs form on the skin, or the pain gradually increases, please contact the clinic. If you have metal implants in your face or are pregnant, please let us know before treatment.

FAQ
Q. Can I apply numbing cream because of ALLTITE pain?
A. The ALLTITE procedure has no separate anesthesia step, and treatment begins right after cleansing. If you are worried about the heat, let us know during consultation, and if it feels strongly hot during treatment, tell us and we will adjust the energy and speed.
Q. Does ALLTITE pain increase with more shots?
A. More shots mean more passes over the same area, so the warmth lasts longer. However, the intensity of each pass is adjusted while watching skin thickness and response, so the pain is not determined by the number of shots alone.
Q. Is it normal for my face to feel hot and look red after ALLTITE?
A. Redness and warmth right after treatment are a reaction to the heat delivered and usually subside within a few hours, and swelling disappears within a few days. If the burning sensation remains after several days or blisters and scabs form, do not touch them and please contact the clinic.
