ONDA

What is this treatment?

ONDA lifting is a precision lifting treatment that uses 2.45GHz microwave (Coolwaves) energy to improve the dermis and the subcutaneous fat layer at the same time. Unlike conventional radiofrequency (RF) or ultrasound (HIFU) treatments, its defining feature is the selective delivery of heat energy only to the deeper fat layer and collagen tissue while minimizing damage to the epidermis. The handpiece's built-in cooling system keeps the skin surface at a safe temperature throughout the treatment, so there is little concern about pain, bruising, or swelling — and the treatment can be performed comfortably without anesthesia.

Who is it recommended for?

POINT 01.

If you are concerned about a double chin and full cheeks: suitable for those with both facial fat and skin sagging who want a smoother, more defined jawline.

POINT 02.

If you are sensitive to pain: recommended for those who found painful lifting treatments burdensome or want to skip the time needed for numbing cream.

POINT 03.

If you want an immediate return to daily life: with virtually no bruising, swelling, or redness, it is ideal for those wanting natural-looking changes ahead of an important event.

POINT 04.

If you want to improve reduced skin elasticity and fine lines: suitable for those looking to improve firmness and texture together through collagen remodeling in the dermis.

How does the procedure go?

STEP 01.

Consultation and Assessment: Before the treatment, we precisely evaluate your skin thickness, fat distribution, and degree of sagging to establish the energy intensity and a customized number of shots.

STEP 02.

Cleansing and Preparation: After thoroughly removing impurities, oil, and makeup from the skin's surface, a dedicated gliding oil is applied so the energy transfers smoothly.

STEP 03.

Handpiece Selection and Treatment: Depending on the area of concern, the 3mm handpiece (targeting the dermis for collagen regeneration and firmness) and the 7mm handpiece (targeting the subcutaneous fat layer for fat cell breakdown and contour refinement) are used selectively during the treatment.

STEP 04.

Aftercare and Soothing: After the treatment, residual oil is removed, followed by moisturizing and soothing care, finished with sunscreen. You can return to daily life immediately.

What should I keep in mind?

warning

Please read the precautions carefully and follow them closely.

-

Avoid heat and saunas: For about a week after the treatment, avoid activities that overheat the body, such as saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and strenuous exercise.

-

No alcohol or smoking: Refrain from drinking and smoking for about a week, as they can interfere with skin recovery and collagen regeneration.

-

Hydration and sun protection: Skin that has received heat energy may temporarily feel dry, so apply plenty of moisturizing and regenerating cream, and apply sunscreen thoroughly before going outside.

-

Minimize skin irritation: On the day of the treatment and for several days afterward, avoid rubbing the skin hard or using harsh scrubs and deep-cleansing products. Wash gently with lukewarm water.
