What is this treatment?

The NeoBeam laser is a sebaceous-gland-regulating laser that uses 1450nm energy to shrink the sebaceous glands — the root cause of acne. With two modes — an acne mode for active breakouts and a toning mode for overall sebum management — it suppresses excess sebum production to treat acne effectively, and by stimulating the regeneration of enlarged pores and deep scars caused by acne, it helps improve roughened skin texture as well. It is a sebaceous gland laser designed especially so that those who cannot easily take isotretinoin-type medication (Isotinon), or who experience its side effects such as dry lips, lip inflammation, and dry skin, can effectively reduce facial and pore sebum without taking oral medication.

What if I do not have much acne but blackheads are my concern?

If you produce a lot of sebum, the sebum builds up in the pores and hardens, which raises the chance of blackheads forming. Squeezing them yourself at home or irritating them can widen the pores and cause wounds, so we recommend combining the treatment with Aqua Peel; combining the two is also effective for improving blackheads and whiteheads and for reducing pore size

What should I keep in mind?

You may wash your face and apply makeup right after the treatment.

For 3–7 days after the treatment, please avoid heavy drinking, smoking, saunas and steam rooms, hot baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.

Mild redness or a stinging sensation may occur but subsides quickly.

Your skin may feel dry after the treatment, so apply moisturizer frequently and always wear sunscreen when going outside.

Please refrain from using scrubs for about a week, and avoid additional peeling treatments during this time.
