What is this treatment?

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) applies a medication containing a light-energy absorber to the skin, then delivers medical light energy from a special-wavelength laser. It targets acne bacteria in the skin and reduces sebaceous gland secretion to calm acne, helping reduce recurrence for effective acne treatment.

What should I keep in mind?

warning

Please read the precautions carefully and follow them closely.

-

Avoid direct sunlight and strong indoor lighting for at least 48 hours after treatment. During this period, sunscreen alone cannot prevent a photosensitivity reaction, so cover up with a hat, long sleeves, and the like.

-

Warmth or redness after the session improves with time.

-

Please avoid high-heat environments such as saunas and steam rooms for about a week.

-

If your skin feels dry after the treatment, apply hydrating or moisturizing cream frequently.

-

Apply sunscreen thoroughly when going outside.

-

Refrain from scrubs and peels that could irritate the skin.

-

If you notice anything unusual after the treatment, please contact the clinic.
