Skin Botox, also known as Dermotoxin — a combination of 'dermo' (skin) and botulinum 'toxin' — differs from conventional Botox in that it is injected into the superficial skin layers. Results vary depending on how much you use your facial muscles and your lifestyle, but effects typically last 1–2 months. For continued results, we recommend repeat treatments every 2–3 months.

Is it effective on deep wrinkles as well?

If a line remains even when you stretch the skin with your fingers, or if the wrinkle is so long-standing that the skin has already changed, Botox alone is not enough to improve it, so we recommend combining it with filler, thread lifting, or radiofrequency laser.

When can I see results after the procedure?

The effect appears gradually from 2 to 3 days after the treatment, and within 1 to 2 weeks on average you can expect improvement of fine lines and firmer skin.

What should I keep in mind?

You may wash your face and apply makeup 2–3 hours after the treatment.

For 3–7 days after the treatment, please avoid heavy drinking, smoking, saunas and steam rooms, hot baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.

Avoid rubbing or irritating the treated area (please avoid deep massages or meridian massage for one month).

Small raised bumps from the Botox solution subside within 2–3 hours, though they may last 1–2 days depending on your skin condition.

As an injectable treatment, mild bruising and swelling may occur depending on your skin condition, but these subside quickly.
