How long does the procedure take and how long is recovery?

What is the difference between nose filler and Hiko?
Hiko improves the bridge and the tip of the nose using hyaluronic acid filler together with absorbable threads that are harmless to the body, which sets it apart from a filler-only nose procedure that adds volume to the bridge line. Hiko defines the tip as well as the bridge, and because the threads support the filler it shapes the nose particularly well. As the threads dissolve they stimulate collagen, so a natural volume lasts even after the filler is absorbed.

What should I keep in mind?
Please read the precautions carefully and follow them closely.

You may wash your face and apply makeup from 2–3 hours after treatment. Please remove the DuoDERM applied to the treated area after 3 days.

For 3–7 days after the treatment, please avoid heavy drinking, smoking, saunas and steam rooms, hot baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.

Please take the prescribed medication consistently for 3 days to prevent inflammation and relieve pain, depending on the treatment area. If you have a history of antibiotic allergies or any other medical conditions, please be sure to let us know.

If pain worsens even after taking the prescribed medication, or if you experience changes in skin color, blistering at the treatment site, itching, or persistent warmth, please contact the clinic and come in for a visit.

After the treatment, facial muscle movement or external pressure may alter the shape of the results. Please take care to avoid pressure or irritation on the treated area for 2–3 weeks (e.g., wearing hats, sleeping face-down or on your side, wearing glasses, ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments, facial meridian massage, dental work).

Occasionally, depending on skin condition, a thread may protrude from the treated area. If this happens, do not touch it with your hands; please visit the clinic for appropriate care.

As an injectable treatment, bruising, swelling, pain, or a foreign-body sensation may occur depending on your skin condition, but these usually resolve within 1–2 weeks.
