How ALLTITE Lifting Works: How Is It Different from Ulthera and Thermage?

ALLTITE is a lifting device that uses radiofrequency-type energy to move ions and water molecules within tissue, generating heat inside the dermis and SMAS layer.

Like Ulthera and Thermage FLX, it creates heat within the skin to help maintain elasticity. The difference lies in the type of energy and where the heat forms. Ulthera concentrates focused ultrasound at set depths, while Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency to warm the deeper layers of the skin.

The Core Principle of ALLTITE

The manufacturer calls this technology DLTD (Dermis Layer Target Dielectric Heating). It describes DLTD as a combination of an energy-delivery method called Focuspolar and a cooling system.

  1. Joule heating and dielectric heating: It combines two sources of heat: heat generated as ions move within an electric field, and heat generated as polar molecules such as water rotate. The heat forms within the tissue rather than on the skin's surface.
  2. Sapphire lens: Diffraction in the lens concentrates energy in the area close to the handpiece. This lens is used to adjust heating efficiency and range.
  3. Semiconductor cooling: A semiconductor thermoelectric cooling device inside the handpiece lowers the surface temperature while energy is being delivered.
  4. Target layers: It targets both the dermis, where elastic fibers are found, and the SMAS layer, the fascial layer beneath it.

The process by which heated collagen contracts and is newly formed continues over several weeks. For this reason, the tightness felt right after treatment and the changes that develop over the course of sessions are assessed separately.

The table shows differences in how each device works, not which is better. Anesthesia also differs: ALLTITE has no anesthesia step in its procedure, whereas Ulthera and Thermage FLX involve numbing cream.

Which Device to Consider First by Concern

1. Thin skin and trying lifting for the first time

  • Recommended device: ALLTITE
  • Recommended interval: every 2–4 weeks
  • Recommended sessions: 3–5, then maintenance 1–2 times a year
  • Features: Addresses areas where elasticity has declined, such as sagging cheeks, the jawline, and nasolabial folds, without an anesthesia step.

2. Cheeks and jawline sagging from the deeper layers

  • Recommended device: Ulthera
  • Recommended interval: typically every 6 months to 1 year
  • Features: Treatment proceeds while checking depth down to the fascial layer with real-time imaging.

3. When fine lines and loss of skin elasticity appear first

  • Recommended device: Thermage FLX
  • Recommended frequency: about once a year
  • Characteristics: Delivers radiofrequency heat broadly to the dermis; numbing cream takes about 30–60 minutes.

When deep sagging is pronounced or there is considerable fat under the chin, we may consider combining other devices rather than planning with a single device.

Care after ALLTITE treatment

  • On the day of treatment: Wash your face gently with lukewarm water and avoid rubbing the treated area hard.
  • For 2–3 days: Avoid saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), strenuous exercise, and alcohol.
  • For one week: Postpone irritating skin care such as scrubs, peels, and massages.
  • Afterward: Apply moisturizer generously and wear sunscreen when going out. Schedule your next session according to the interval you were advised.

Temporary redness and swelling usually subside within a few days. Please let us know before treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker or metal implants, are prone to keloids, have inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or are taking any medication. If blisters form or warmth and pain increase, please contact us right away.

Booking and consultation

FACEFILTER Clinic Suwon offers ALLTITE in increments from 100 shots up to 1200 shots, with 3-session packages available for 300 shots, 400 shots, and 600 shots. In a personalized consultation, we first assess whether sagging stems from loss of skin elasticity or from deeper layers, then decide on the device and number of shots.
